Rene Marie Russo is an American film actress and a former supermodel. Known for her elegant beauty her endurance in the intense film industry is a reflection of her skills and talent as an actor. The model began her modeling career during the 1970s. Soon, she became one of the most sought-after models. She was a theatre and acting student in the early part of the decade. She then appeared on stages in Los Angeles, and other parts of California. The year 1987 saw Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell in ABC's drama Sable. In the following year she portrayed Tom Berengers love interest in her first movie Major League. Her initial doubts were about her acting abilities but the critics became confident after her steady performances. In Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak she was especially praised by the critics for the way she performed against Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and others. The actress has acknowledged that acting hasn't been her thing. In 2005 she took a long self-imposed break. After that, she made her return as a part of the film about superheroes called Thor. Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female fighters. She started her career as an amateur fighter, and she participated in various regional events. Later on, she signed with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). She has gained a lot of attention since joining the UFC due to both her inside and outside the octagon's success. Namajunas's family is Lithuanian and she was born there on the 29th of June in 1992. Growing up, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. At 18 years old she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships where she took two wins through submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 at the age of 22 she signed her for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose was a high-flyer but she's also had lows in her career but always came out on winning. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza on April 15, 2015, for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout in less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only took home the title but she was also recognized as Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA history with this match since she was the first woman to challenge to win the title of champion within any major organization. Namajunas won a number of fights following her win including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It brought Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
